French PSG is aiming to acquire Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, reports Defensa Central.
Moreover, according to the source, the motivation for the Parisians is twofold. First, PSG's management is dissatisfied with the performance of the current main goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, and second, by luring Courtois, the Parisian club wants to take revenge on Real for the transfer of their former forward Kylian Mbappe there. Let us remind you that the latter joined the "Royal Club" last summer as a free agent.
At the same time, it is not entirely clear what kind of revenge is being discussed, as Courtois' contract with Real runs until the summer of 2026, and thus, no one will let the goalkeeper go for free.
In any case, such a transfer, if it happens, would open the way for Real's Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who has only played when Courtois is injured for several years now.
