The team of the Ukrainian Football Association made a working trip to discuss new areas of cooperation with the Football Federation of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting with the federation’s leadership, UAF representatives learned about the country’s educational projects in the field of football education and the system for developing youth and women’s football.
As part of the visit, the delegation visited academies where they are actively working on forming future players and providing training for children with an emphasis on football. A visit was also organized to an academy that is in the process of being developed.
A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a memorandum of understanding, which provides for the exchange of experience between the two countries. Within the framework of cooperation, it is also planned to organize matches between national teams and friendly meetings of women's teams.
In addition, the Ukrainian U-21 team received an invitation to participate in a prestigious tournament in Saudi Arabia, which will give our young players the opportunity to gain experience in competitions with leading teams in the region.
