On November 8, the draw for the quarterfinal matches of the Cup of Ukraine 2024/25 took place. One of the pairs consists of "Bukovina" and "Victoria," with the Chernivtsi team acting as the host.
Stadium «Bukovina»As it became known to Sport.ua, starting from the quarterfinals, matches will be held at arenas that meet the requirements of the Premier League. The Chernivtsi stadium does not meet these conditions due to the absence of artificial lighting and heating.
The leadership of FC "Bukovina" has appealed to the competition organizers at UAF with a request to allow them to play in Chernivtsi, arguing that representatives of the First League will be playing.
If consent is not obtained, alternative options for holding the match in Lviv or Ternopil will be considered. The base date for the quarterfinal matches is April 2, 2025.
One of the First League clubs will reach the semifinals of the Cup of Ukraine for the 8th time in the history of this tournament.
