As already reported, Ukrainian goalkeeper of Madrid’s “Real” Andriy Lunin once again, as he did a month ago, will not join the Ukraine national team for the upcoming Nations League matches (instead, Dmitry Riznyk from Donetsk’s “Shakhtar” has already been called up to the national team).
The official reason for this turn of events is “family circumstances.” But Lunin himself seems to have hinted at what is hidden under this wording, publishing a message on his Instagram social media page after yesterday’s La Liga match between “Real” and “Osasuna” (4:0), in which he defended his team’s goal.
“Good result. Happy for the attendance and this is my love for you, @a.nastasica (tag on Lunin’s wife’s Instagram page – Anastasia Lunin, – ed. note). It’s strange not to see you at the stadium, but health comes first!!!! I’m with you,” wrote the goalkeeper.
