A journalist from the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Carlos Vara, reacted to the scandal that his media outlet found itself in: the publication, in its note about the Champions League match between Munich’s Bayern and Lisbon’s Benfica (1:0), referred to the Ukrainian goalkeeper of the visiting team Anatoly Trubin as a "Russian goalkeeper".

Let’s recall that Trubin himself also reacted to this scandal, writing on social media: "For all media: I am Ukrainian".
