The head coach of Marseille, Roberto De Zerbi, motivated his players last summer by showing them an offer that was sent to him from Manchester United using a projector, EuroFoot reports, citing L’Equipe on social media platform X.
“This is where I could have been, but I put passion above money. I came to Marseille for passion,” said the Italian specialist.
It is noted that the contract shown by De Zerbi to the players also contained information about the salary the English club was offering him.
