Coventry owner Doug King confirmed that former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is one of the candidates for the head coach position.
“We have received a huge number of resumes from high-class specialists, and Frank is one of them. All the work is still ahead. Right now we have an international break. We will consider all options. We will work on compiling a shortlist, from which we will move forward,” King is quoted by the BBC.
Additionally, it should be noted that last week the Championship club dismissed head coach Mark Robbins. After 15 played matches in the championship, Coventry is in 17th place in the league table with 16 points.
