The emotions were just incredible. It’s very pleasant to receive such an opportunity! I have already spoken with representatives of the national team regarding organizational issues and will soon head to the national team camp. I know many of the guys from the times of the youth and Olympic teams of Ukraine, when I played with them, and who are now playing for the main team of the country. So I think that the adaptation in the team will go quickly. But this is still a new challenge for me professionally, as playing for the national team of your country is every footballer’s dream and it is one of the most important goals.
The Ukraine national team has extremely important matches ahead in the Nations League. We need to give our all to win the final matches against Georgia and Albania. It is important to represent the country and our flag with dignity. I haven’t told any of my teammates about this, but this morning the guys saw this news and everyone started calling and congratulating me on my debut call-up,” said Syich in a comment to the official website of "Rukh".
