The national team of Ukraine will play their next match in the UEFA Nations League against Georgia on November 16. Former national team player Volodymyr Mykytyn shared his expectations for the confrontation in Batumi:

Although the Ukrainians are in a worse position, with two away matches ahead and facing the threat of relegation from League B. Still, I am convinced that this factor will contribute to the unification of Serhiy Rebrov’s squad and their desire to showcase their best qualities. I think the Ukrainians will prevail — 2:1.

— It seems that the peak of the Georgian national team’s form has already passed, while the Ukrainians are just starting to pick up speed. Ultimately, our team is equipped with higher-quality players. The team cohesion should help tip the scales in their favor.
— Will the fact that several players are having issues with match practice affect the Ukrainians’ performance?
— Determining the starting lineup is the prerogative of the coach Serhiy Rebrov. The status of the match and the difficult tournament situation will force our players to give it their all.
— In your opinion, what tactical scheme will the Ukrainians adopt in Batumi?
— 4−1−4−1, which will transform into 4−3−3 during attacking operations.
— Who do you prefer in the defensive midfield role?
— Ivan Kaliuzhnyi, but if necessary, he can be substituted by Volodymyr Brazhko during the match.
— Will Oleksandr Zinchenko be in the starting lineup?
— No, I think Mykola Shaparenko will take his place in the midfield, while Vitalii Mykolenko's positions on the left flank of defense are stronger.
— What are the most dangerous “trump cards” of the Georgian team?
— The Georgians are very skillful at launching counterattacks using low passes. Therefore, we must cherish the ball and play compactly. A lot will also depend on whether the home team's leader Khvicha Kvaratskhelia shows up. I hope Yukhym Konoplia will ensure he remains unnoticed. However, these are merely our hypotheses, but I believe that Serhiy Rebrov certainly knows what is needed to win in Batumi.
