The fate of the match was decided by a single goal scored by José Fahardo from a penalty in the 66th minute. Dynamo player Guerrero appeared on the field in the 76th minute, replacing the goal scorer.
The return match on Panama's field will take place on November 19 at 04:00 Kyiv time. The winners of the quarter-finals advance to the final four, with the matches scheduled for March next year in Inglewood (California, USA).
