The head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhiy Rebrov provided another comment following today’s Nations League match against the Georgian national team (1:1).
«We feel disappointment — we tried to win. I said that the quick goal played such a role that psychologically we tried to maintain the score. There were counterattacks, but unfortunately, that’s the score now.
We expected any game: we prepared for high pressing, for positional attacks. We play almost all matches away, and Georgia gained confidence from the support of their fans.
Condition of the field? I think it was significantly better than in the first game against Georgia (in Poznań, — ed. note). I don’t think that minor issues with the pitch hindered the game,” Rebrov said.
