Last Tuesday, November 19, the youth national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2006) played their final match in the qualifying round of the youth Euro-2025 (U-19).

At the start of the match, Synchuk tested the goalkeeper with a shot from a free kick. Later, the Dutch blocked a dangerous shot from Husol, and Synchuk also shot past the far post. In the 39th minute, the hosts opened the scoring—a swift counterattack after a corner from the Ukrainian national team was completed by Sliti, winning his duel against Bakus.
In the second half, the hosts had the advantage. The Ukrainians had their chances at the opponent's goal, but could not score. At the end of the match, Vernattus had a moment, but the goalkeeper saved it.
Having lost 0:1, the "blue-yellow" team took the last position in the group, without gaining any points (before this, the Ukrainians had lost to Kazakhstan 1:2 and Slovenia 0:1).
