Former Arsenal midfielder Adrian Clarke defended his former team’s Ukrainian legionnaire Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has come under fire from the media and fans of the Gunners this season.
"The situation Zinchenko is in is difficult. Really difficult. But I don’t want to write him off. Zinchenko has brought me a lot of joy as I watched him play over the last few years. I liked a lot of what he did.
I think that perhaps the current criticism directed at him is too harsh. Yes, Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal midfielder — ed.) has great potential, but I would probably choose Zinchenko over him," said Adrian Clarke on the Handbrake Off podcast.
