Giorgio Scalvini has recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and has been included in the Atalanta squad for the match of the 13th round of the Italian Championship against Parma.
As a result of a harsh collision, the 20-year-old player was injured in the last match of the Serie A season 2023/24, which deprived him of the opportunity to participate in Euro 2024. It was initially expected that the Italian would be out of action until 2025, but the player managed to recover sooner.
At just 20 years old, Scalvini has played 55 matches in the Italian Championship, being a main player for Gian Piero Gasperini’s team.
