The legendary defender of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” Stefan Reshko shared his expectations for the match of Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s team against “Victoria” from the Czech city of Plzeň in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League.

— I am very concerned about the poor performance of the Dynamo players on the international stage this season. To be honest, I was convinced that in the previous round against “Ferencváros,” the Kyiv team would make an effort to break the streak of failures, win, and give a gift not only to the fans but also to themselves and the veterans of “Dynamo” who, back in 1975 in Basel, won against the Hungarian giant with a score of 3:0 in the Cup Winners' Cup final. But Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s team managed to lose — 0:4, you couldn't think of a worse outcome.
Right now, I am ashamed to look at the standings of the Europa League, where Dynamo confidently occupies the last place, having lost all matches, never scoring a goal against their opponents, and conceding as many as ten goals.
It seems that the Dynamo youth simply does not realize the honor of representing such a renowned club. Where is your maximum determination, your sports anger? I really hope that “Dynamo” has already worked on their mistakes; it’s time to stop being punching bags. The Czech “Victoria” is an ambitious team, but not among the top ones, so the Kyiv players must make an effort to finally start making up for lost time,” said the Dynamo player.
