Right now, the match of the 15th round of the Ukrainian Championship is ongoing, in which "Alexandria" and "Chernomorets" are facing off.
The first half of the match was marked by an incredible scandal: after the goal by home midfielder Vashchenko, players from the Odessa club began to address complaints to the main referee Alexander Omelchenko, who, in their opinion, should have recorded a previous foul on Bogdan Butko.
Hearing insults directed at him from Ivan Petryak, the referee showed the player a straight red card, which also provoked outrage among the representatives of "Chernomorets".
However, just a few minutes later, the situation escalated to the limit: after another gaming moment, Butko sustained an injury, but instead of leaving the field to receive medical attention, as requested by defender Omelchenko, Butko simply “dismissed” the main referee of the match. The verdict - another straight red card.
Such decisions by the referee did not please the head coach of "Chernomorets" Alexander Babich, who called for his team to leave the field, but after several minutes of discussions, including with the opponents, the Odessa players ultimately decided to continue playing.
