“Karpaty” explained why they supported the idea of a face-to-face meeting of the clubs with the UAF arbitration consultant Nicola Rizzoli and the head of the UAF refereeing corps Kateryna Monzul to discuss urgent issues regarding the referees’ decisions.
“As is known, at the beginning of December, the Ukrainian Football Association planned to hold a meeting of UPL clubs with the management of the refereeing corps.
Representatives of “Karpaty” will be present at this meeting and will actively participate in the event. We believe that such dialogue between clubs and the refereeing corps is necessary and can yield positive results.
Our club believes that overall the quality of refereeing has improved. “Karpaty” have no significant comments on the work of the referees in UPL matches, but we are convinced that many aspects need improvement,” Karpaty replied.
