The midfielder of Kovalivka’s Kolos, Andrey Tsurikov, summarized yesterday’s match of his team against Kyiv’s Dynamo (1:1) in the 15th round of the Ukrainian championship.
«It is important that we were not thrown off track by the quick goal from Dynamo, who have been an uncomfortable opponent for us lately. We can completely record the first half as a positive and the fact that we equalized shortly after — is fair.
After the break, we acted more according to the result. The territorial advantage of the Kyiv team was unquestionable, but we also made several successful breaks from our half, however, our finishing let us down.
Despite the fact that the Dynamo players had little time to prepare due to participating in the Europa League, they tried to maintain a high pace and attacked dangerously, but we held on for the draw. We are very satisfied with this; each point is very valuable, as Kolos's tournament standing is still concerning,» Tsurikov said.
