The midfielder of the Greek Panathinaikos, Benjamin Verbic, may return to one of his former clubs - Kyiv’s Dynamo, reports sdna.gr.
Benjamin VerbicRecall that the 31-year-old Slovenian was excluded from all rosters of his current club at the start of this season, and now Panathinaikos allegedly agreed to let Verbic leave early: the player's contract is valid until next summer, but as Greek media assure, he will receive free agent status as early as January.
At the same time, according to sdna.gr, a return to Dynamo is one of the options for Verbic's career continuation. It is reported that the Kyiv club would like to see the midfielder in their ranks again and has already contacted his representatives. At the same time, the possibility of renting Verbic until the end of the season is being considered in case he still remains a Panathinaikos player in winter.
Verbic is also in demand from the Slovenian club Celje, with whose management he has excellent relations.
Recall that Verbic played for Dynamo from 2018 to 2022.
