Real Madrid has officially cancelled all scheduled concerts at its home stadium, the Santiago Bernabéu, after the club received numerous complaints from local residents about the high level of noise. This is reported by The Guardian.
It is known that the dissatisfaction of Madrid residents was particularly caused by the Taylor Swift concerts that took place last summer. City dwellers complained about the sound levels significantly exceeding allowable norms, and the shows ending after midnight. Consequently, residents of the Spanish capital began legal action against those responsible, including the local authorities of Madrid.
“The football club ‘Real’ announces that we have decided to temporarily relocate the concert program at the ‘Santiago Bernabéu’ stadium. This decision is part of a set of measures the club is taking to ensure strict compliance of concerts with specific municipal regulations,” the press service of Real stated.
