On Thursday, December 5, the draw for the second qualifying round of Euro-2025 (U-17) took place in Nyon, Switzerland.

54 teams were divided into groups in two leagues - A and B. Based on the results of the first qualification round, 28 teams made it to League A, while the remaining 26 went to League B.
The Ukrainian youth team U-17 (players no older than those born in 2008) under the leadership of Yuriy Moroz finished second in their group of the first round, defeating Kosovo (4:2) and Kazakhstan (3:0) but losing to Belgium (1:2). Before the draw for the second stage, they were in the third pot. The seeding was based on the results of the first round.
As a result of the draw, the blue-and-yellows ended up in group A1, where they will face Italy, Croatia, and Slovakia.

Group A1: Italy, Croatia, UKRAINE, Slovakia.
Group A2: Spain, Austria, Germany, Norway.
Group A3: France, Greece, Denmark, Finland.

Group A5: Czech Republic, Switzerland, Turkey, Sweden.
Group A6: Belgium, Poland, Iceland, Ireland.
Group A7: England, Northern Ireland, Slovenia, Israel.
28 teams were divided into seven groups of four participants. Seven group winners of League A will earn the right to join the host of Euro-2025 (U-17), Albania, in the final tournament, which will take place from May 19 to June 1. The seven teams that finish fourth in the groups of League A will be relegated to League B in the first qualifying round of Euro-2027 (U-19).
League B
Group B1: Romania, North Macedonia, Scotland, Liechtenstein.
Group B2: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Armenia, San Marino.
Group B3: Montenegro, Latvia, Estonia, Gibraltar.
Group B4: Kosovo, Cyprus, Moldova, Andorra.
Group B5: Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Malta, Faroe Islands.
Group B6: Albania, Wales, Azerbaijan.
Group B7: Lithuania, Georgia, Kazakhstan.
26 teams were divided into five groups of four participants and two groups of three participants. Seven group winners of League B will be promoted to League A in the first qualifying round of Euro-2027 (U-19).
Additionally, Euro-2025 (U-17) will serve as UEFA representatives' qualification for the U-17 World Championship 2025, which will involve 48 teams in Qatar.
