Forward Junior Moraes, known in Ukraine for his performances with Dynamo and Shakhtar, announced the end of his professional football career.
“Thank you, football. After a 17-year career, the time has come for a new challenge,” Moraes commented on his decision on Twitter.
It is worth noting that as part of Dynamo, the forward played 54 matches, scoring 22 goals. The player also played for Donetsk’s Shakhtar and Metalurh, Sofia’s CSKA, and Corinthians.
Recall that in 2019 Moraes received Ukrainian citizenship and played 11 matches as part of the Ukrainian national team, scoring 1 goal.
