Argentinian forward Lionel Messi of Inter Miami has been recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the season in MLS.

In the voting for the MVP of the year, which included players, media, and club staff, Messi narrowly outpaced Juan Hernandez of Columbus Crew — 38.43% to 33.7%.
