The German edition of Playboy conducted an annual survey among the country’s female residents to find out which famous men stood out to them this year.
Most of the female sympathies were garnered by former Real Madrid player and the German national team member Toni Kroos, who retired from football this year. 17% of respondents voted for him as the best man of the year.
In second place is basketball player Dennis Schröder, and in third place is Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach of the German national football team.
No politician made it to the top ten most popular men in Germany, notes DW. However, the "anti-man of the year" was Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
