Alexander Berezhnoi (1957) — Ukrainian defender, played for Kyiv "Dynamo" and Simferopol "Tavria". He played 14 matches for the USSR national team. Defending the colors of the "white-blue", he once won the union championship and lifted the national cup.
Les Ferdinand (1966) — former English footballer. He is best known for his performances for English clubs "Queens Park Rangers", "Newcastle United", and "Tottenham Hotspur", as well as for the England national team. He became the first footballer to score goals for 6 different clubs in the English Premier League.
Yuriy Maksimov (1968) — former Ukrainian footballer, midfielder. Three-time champion of Ukraine with Kyiv "Dynamo". At the end of 1997, he signed a contract with Bremen's "Werder", where he played alongside compatriot Viktor Skripnik. With the German club, he won the German Cup and the Intertoto Cup. He played for the Ukrainian national team (27 matches, 5 goals).
After finishing his football career, he engaged in coaching. He was the head coach of "Obolon", "Kryvbas", Donetsk "Metallurg", "Dnipro-1". He currently heads "Vorskla".
