West Ham announced that striker Michail Antonio underwent surgery after breaking his leg.
Today, West Ham shared news regarding the health condition of the 34-year-old Jamaica international.
According to the club’s press service, Antonio underwent surgery after “a lower limb fracture.” In the coming days, Michail will continue to be under close medical supervision.
“Everyone at the club wishes Michail a speedy recovery and wants to express their heartfelt thanks to the football family for the tremendous support provided after yesterday's news,” the statement from the London club reads.
The day before, Antonio crashed his Ferrari in a suburb of London. He was flown to the hospital by helicopter directly from the scene.
