Kyiv «Dynamo» midfielder Vitalii Buyalskyi shared his impressions of the match of the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship against «Alexandria» (3:0).

— Yes, we started our attacks differently than in the previous meeting with this opponent, and we didn’t create moments near our own goal. We simplified the game a bit — and everything worked out.
— Did you prepare for the match with the same approach as for the first match?
— No, if you noticed, we changed a bit. In the first game, we tried to do everything through passing, so we were often pressed, and the team lost confidence. But in today’s match, if something didn’t work out, we didn’t invent anything, we played long passes — and everything worked out.
— The first goal was scored after a corner — did you practice such actions during set pieces in training?
— Yes, we really practiced such set pieces, but in training, everything came out very easily, while in the game it doesn’t always happen as we want. But today we managed to do what we practiced.
— It seemed that almost everything that should have gone into the goal flew in today. So today’s execution didn’t let you down?
— If we scored three goals, I can confidently say that it indeed didn’t let us down. Perhaps, we occupied the right positions and got into striking positions, which resulted in goals.
— After taking a two-goal lead, did it feel calmer to go out for the second half? Was the game less nervous?
— No, a score of 2:0 is the most dangerous result because the team can relax and concede a goal, and after that, they lose confidence, become nervous, and that can lead to troubles.
— How much did the pause due to the air alarm affect the further course of events on the field?
— It affected, as there was a bit of a lack of time to warm up, and we came out onto the field a bit ‘cold’.
— «Dynamo» has already played its third match in the last week; is there enough time for recovery and preparation for the matches?
— If the games are three days apart, then there is enough time, but if it’s two days apart, then no, since we travel a lot and we are often on the road.
— You dealt «Alexandria» its first defeat this season, while «Dynamo» completed the first half of the championship undefeated. What can you summarize about the first half of the season?
— I won’t say anything about myself. As for the team, it’s good that we are in first place, winning; in my opinion, that’s the main thing at this stage. As they say, the game is forgotten, but the result remains.
