The midfielder of Kyiv "Dynamo" Vladislav Kabaev commented on his team’s victory over "Oleksandriya" (3:0) in yesterday’s match of the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship.

It was very important for us, as we had not achieved that result recently and had not demonstrated the kind of play we would like. Perhaps, we lacked the right mood. Today, maybe, something didn’t work out, but the preparation for the match reminded me of the one before the game against "Partizan" — when the confrontation is significant, and everyone plays with great desire despite the fact that not everything may go well.
In addition, we were playing at home. The match that was in Oleksandriya and today’s match — these are two different games both in terms of the score and the quality of play. So we are very satisfied, but there are still many games ahead to become champions. This is a little seed that can grow into something interesting.
— What exactly is the difference between the last match with "Oleksandriya" and today’s?
— I can’t even say what exactly, perhaps in the preparation and in the fact that the coach paid a bit more attention to theoretical lessons, because there was indeed a lot of theory and tactics in the last two or three days. Thanks to this, we adjusted and slightly changed our game. This became our main "feature", hence the result came.
— Today the realization of chances was at a high level? Did you expect to score three goals?
— It is always pleasant to score a lot and concede little. Today it worked out — we did not concede anything, although the opponent had a few moments to score. And we also scored ours, and one goal from offside was not counted. But in every interview I say that we have a lot to work on — in defense and in attack. Additionally, we had not scored from set pieces for a long time, but today we did. This was also something we practiced in training. It was not by accident that the cross went there, and Popov ran into exactly that spot. In short, a lot of work was done to not concede and to score.
I’ll repeat, we still have many matches ahead, we need more stability. Today was a good game, and we need to take it as an example.
