The Spaniard slipped twice in the first half on his own half of the field, allowing opponents to seize the ball and score goals. Cucurella immediately went to the sideline to change his equipment, and after the match, he even published a photo of his discarded boots in the trash: “Sorry, Blues,” the footballer wrote on his Instagram page.
It should be added that a few minutes after the second conceded goal, Cucurella managed to somewhat rehabilitate himself by providing an assist to Sancho.
