The refereeing body of the English Premier League announced the dismissal of referee David Coote.
Coote's problems began last month when a video surfaced on social media showing the 42-year-old referee insulting \"Liverpool\" and former manager of the \"reds\" Jürgen Klopp.
Coote was immediately suspended from work, and the refereeing body and FA began their investigations into David. However, this was not the end of Coote's troubles. Soon, tabloids published a number of scandalous stories about David, linking him to drug use.
\"Coote's actions were deemed a serious violation of the terms of his employment contract, and his position is considered untenable. Coote's support remains important to us, and we are still concerned about his well-being. Coote has the right to appeal the decision to terminate his employment,\" said the refereeing body's statement.
