Midfielder of Cherkasy LNZ Denis Oleynik spoke about his plans to start a coaching career.
Denis Oleynik“This season is definitely the last in my playing career. There is one hundred percent certainty about that. I made this decision long ago. I can still play and be useful, but there comes a time when it is necessary to finish and make the transition to another activity. I am already psychologically and mentally ready for this.
I have been thinking for a long time about what I will do next. Probably, for the last 5 years, I have been preparing myself for coaching work. This is something I have skills for. I am preparing very diligently for this. I have been thinking about it since I was 20. It’s an inner urge, I have always analyzed the work of coaches, I always put myself in their shoes and thought about how I would act in a given situation, what decision I would make. I have an analytical mindset, I love to analyze different situations, complex situations. There are many crisis situations in football, and you have to know how to get out of them,” Oleynik said in a comment to the LNZ press service.
