On December 10, it will be 65 years since the creation of Zhytomyr’s «Polissya». On this round date, the president of FC «Dynamo» (Kyiv) Ihor Surkis congratulated the club from the regional center.

Allow me, personally and on behalf of the numerous army of Dynamo fans, to congratulate you on this significant date.
Zhytomyr football has made a great contribution to the development of Ukrainian football as such. In particular, the graduates of local football have left a noticeable mark in history, including that of Kyiv’s «Dynamo». The names of Viktor Bannikov, Anatoliy Puzach, Serhiy Krulykovskyi, Anatoliy Shepel are inscribed in golden letters in the history of the most titled club in Ukraine and the USSR.
It is pleasing to see that «Polissya» has reached a high level in recent years and is now among the best clubs in Ukraine, fighting for the highest places and qualification for European cups.
We wish FC «Polissya» continued prosperity, victories on the football field, achieving the most ambitious goals, successful performances on the international stage, and development in all areas of activity.
