On Wednesday, November 11, Kyiv’s «Dynamo» played the second leg of the 3rd round of the «Champions Path» of the UEFA Youth League for the 2024/25 season. At this stage, the opponent of Ihor Kostiuk's team is the «2 Koriku» team from Kosovo. Recall that in the first match, held in Polish Stalowa Wola, the Dynamo players won with a convincing score of 5:0.

From the first minutes, the Dynamo players took control of the game. Immediately, Osipenko could have scored from a set-piece earned near the opponents' penalty area, but Kyrylo's shot was blocked – only a corner resulted. And already in the 15th minute, our team took the lead – Kremchanin, fighting with an opponent on the right flank, passed to Ponomarenko, who confidently hit the target from the edge of the penalty area – 0:1.
Immediately, Osipenko almost capitalized on a pass from Salenko, but somehow his attempt did not end up in the net. Soon, Andreyko scored, but he did so from an offside position, so the goal was not counted. Overall, the Dynamo players did not slow down and continued to press on the opponents' goal. Korobov got into a shooting position, but only earned a corner.
In the second part of the first half, the Kosovars managed to create a few troubles near the Dynamo goal, but in two situations, goalkeeper Surkis saved his team, while in others the accuracy let the hosts down. Meanwhile, shortly before the halftime whistle, Ponomarenko completed a double, breaking into the penalty area at speed and directing the ball into the left corner of the goal with a low strong shot – 0:2. It is worth noting that he was assisted by Kremchanin again.
At the beginning of the second half, the opponents harshly treated Ponomarenko near their own penalty area, but after a free kick and a deflection, the ball flew to a corner. Taking advantage of the slightly calmer play, the «2 Koriku» team capitalized on a set piece, and after a corner kick from Shala, he managed to jump higher than everyone and head the ball into the net to reduce the deficit – 1:2.
However, quite soon the guests restored their two-goal advantage – Redushko intercepted the ball and passed to Osipenko, and the latter, from the edge of the penalty area, left the goalkeeper with no chance, hitting the far corner – 1:3. The final score was established by Redushko himself: receiving a pass from the right from Andreyko, Bohdan did not waste his opportunity, accurately shooting almost from the goal line – 1:4.
In stoppage time, Ozymay almost scored, but his finishing let him down a bit.
Thus, the final score is 4:1 – a confident victory for «Dynamo U-19» (9:1 on aggregate over two matches). Therefore, our team advances to the next stage of the competition – the Round of 16 of the UEFA Youth League. Ihor Kostiuk's team will learn their opponent at this stage during the draw, which will take place on December 20.
