The return match of the 3rd round of the “Champions Path” of the UEFA Youth League for the 2024/2025 season away against the team “2 Koriku” from Kosovo, where “Dynamo U-19” won 4:1, was significant for our striker Matviy Ponomarenko. In this game, he scored a double and marked several achievements.

Secondly, this double was the second for Matviy Ponomarenko in the UEFA Youth League. Thus, he repeated the record achievement among youth players of all Ukrainian clubs, which belonged to Dynamo players Vyacheslav Voloshyn and Sambo Diallo.
Moreover, with 7 goals, Ponomarenko topped the list of Dynamo scorers in this tournament, surpassing Vyacheslav Voloshyn and Bohdan Lednev by one goal.
