Ukrainian midfielder of the Belgian “Westerlo” Sergey Sidorchuk reacted to the fact that FIFA during the draw for the 2026 World Cup qualification showed Ukraine without part of its territory - Crimea.

“During the draw for the World Cup qualifiers, FIFA showed the territory of Ukraine without Crimea, which is an unacceptable mistake.

The Crimean Peninsula belongs to the territory of Ukraine and is occupied, not annexed. This is an important distinction,” - Sidorchuk wrote on his Instagram page.
