The coach of the Croatian national team, which is a possible opponent of the Ukrainians, Zlatko Dalić commented on the results of the draw, reports the official website of the HFS.
“It’s a thankless task to comment on such an unusual draw, after which we don’t know who we will actually play against. Perhaps, at first glance on paper, group D looks more uncomfortable, considering the very strong Ukraine and the two long trips to Iceland and Azerbaijan. But both groups have quality and ambitious teams that also want to qualify for the World Cup,” said Zlatko Dalić.
