The head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, shared his impressions of the results of the draw for the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Compared to what it was before, visibility is less, but adaptation is needed. We are not going to adapt in the quarter-finals of the Nations League to get into a group of five or four teams," assured Didier Deschamps.
Following the draw for the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, the Ukrainian national team ended up in Group D, where it will play against the winner of the 2024/2025 Nations League quarter-finals France - Croatia, as well as teams from Iceland and Azerbaijan.
