AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini declined an invitation to attend the celebration for the 125th anniversary of the club. This week, the Rossoneri are celebrating 125 years since their founding, which dates back to December 13, 1899.

On Sunday, before the start of the Serie A match against Genoa, a ceremonial event will take place. As reported by Calciomercato, Maldini did not accept the invitation to attend it.

It is worth recalling that in June 2023, AC Milan fired Maldini from his position as the club's technical director. Paolo held this position since 2018.
