Currently, Ponomarenko has 38 accurate strikes. Among them, 8 goals in this season (the forward missed part of the championship due to injury), 24 goals in the previous championship, and 6 goals in the 2022/2023 season (while playing for «Zarya U-19»).
A few days ago, Matvey Ponomarenko became the top scorer in the history of «Dynamo U-19» performances in the UEFA Youth League (7 goals).
