According to the statistics portal Opta, for the Portuguese midfielder this is already 21 successful penalties from 25 attempts in Premier League matches. With this achievement, Fernandes became the best penalty taker in the history of Manchester United, surpassing Wayne Rooney, who had 20 successful penalties from 28 attempts.
