For the team of Kyiv’s Dynamo, immediately after today’s match on December 16 in the 17th round of the Ukrainian championship for the 2024/25 season against Rukh Lviv (1:0), the winter vacation began. At the same time, the plans of the “white-blues” for preparation for the second part of the current season became known.
The Dynamo players will return from vacation on January 4, undergo a scheduled medical examination at one of the capital's clinics, and the next morning they will head to Turkey for the team's training camp. During this time, the “white-blues” will have daily training sessions, as well as a number of friendly matches (the quantity and partners for these matches are still being negotiated, but it is already known that Dynamo will play against Polish Widzew and Romanian Steaua).
In addition, during the camp, Alexander Shovkovsky’s team will combine their work with the closing matches of the main stage of the Europa League — against Turkish Galatasaray (January 21) and Latvian RFS (January 30).
The Dynamo players will return home in mid-February, receive a short rest, and then start preparing for their first official match of 2025 — against Lviv's Karpaty, which will take place in the 18th round of the current Ukrainian championship (the base day of the round is February 22).
