The press service of “Chelsea” has issued an official statement regarding the situation with the positive doping test of midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk.
“The football club ‘Chelsea’ can confirm that the FA recently contacted our player Mykhailo Mudryk regarding the adverse urine test result.
Both the club and Mykhailo fully support the FA testing program, and all our players, including Mykhailo, undergo testing regularly.
Mykhailo has categorically confirmed that he has never knowingly consumed any banned substances. Both Mykhailo and the club will now work with the relevant authorities to establish what caused the adverse result.
The club will not provide any further comments,” states the announcement on Chelsea’s official website.
