After a 6-year break, «Dynamo» has become the winner of the autumn part of the Ukrainian Championship for the 16th time in history.
Photo: O. VasilievaIn previous championships, the Kyiv team took first place in 12 cases, and in three – second place, lagging behind «Shakhtar». On 4 occasions, the Dynamo players went on winter break in the leading position during the time of Valeriy Lobanovskyi, 3 times under Yozhef Sabo, 2 times under Anatoliy Dem’yanenko and Yuriy Syomin, and once under Mykhailo Fomenko, Valeriy Gazzaev, Serhiy Rebrov, Mircea Lucescu, and Oleksandr Shovkovskyi.
By the way, for the first time in the last 10 years, «Dynamo» completed the autumn part of the championship without any defeats.
