The Ukrainian Premier League summed up the results of the 17th round of the championship of Ukraine, the matches of which took place last weekend.
The selection of the best players traditionally took place through a survey of representatives of Ukrainian sports publications. Each of the respondents named a trio of contenders for the title of coach of the round, a five for the title of player of the round, and also formed their version of the symbolic team of the round.
The best player of the round was the forward of Kyiv's "Obolon" Rostyslav Taranukha, who scored a goal and provided an assist in the match against Lviv's "Rukh" (2:1), while the title of the best coach of the round went to the mentor of Zhytomyr's "Polissya," Imad Ashura, whose team defeated Donetsk's "Shakhtar" for the second time this season (1:0).
