The head of the Professional Football Committee of UAF Oleg Luzhny commented on the doping scandal involving Chelsea player and Ukraine national team member Mykhailo Mudryk.
— It is difficult to say anything definitive about the situation with Mudryk, as it is still unknown what caused the presence of a banned substance in the athlete’s body. In order to draw any conclusions, we need to at least wait for the results of the re-testing. For now, we can only speculate about Mykhailo: whether he took it, whether it was slipped to him, or if it was a mistake. For instance, he could have mistakenly taken someone else's glass, and so on. Anything is possible. But whatever the case may be, I hope the situation will be ultimately clarified by the B sample, — said Oleg Romanovych.
