Today is not particularly rich in birthdays of personalities closely connected with football:
Ognen Vukojević (1983) – a former Croatian midfielder. He was known for his work rate and tenacity in the fight for the ball, earning him the nickname "the Croatian Gattuso". He played for a long time for Kyiv's Dynamo. Since 2007, he has been consistently called up to the Croatian national team. A participant in the European Championships of 2008 and 2012.
It should be noted that immediately after signing the contract with the Kyiv club, Ognen stated that he preferred Dynamo's offer over the opportunity to join clubs such as Amsterdam's Ajax, Scottish Celtic, or Bayern Munich. In May 2017, he was appointed manager for Dynamo in the Balkan region, Eastern and Central Europe. He was an assistant to Mircea Lucescu in the coaching staff of Dynamo.
