According to the results of 2024, the midfielder of Kyiv "Dynamo" and the national team of Ukraine Andriy Yarmolenko became the winner of the referendum "Golden Experience", organized by the Association of Veterans of Football of Ukraine in collaboration with the Charity Foundation of the Sobutskiy family.
Photo: avfu.org.uaIn the voting, aimed at determining the best Ukrainian football player aged 30 years and older (players born in 1994 and earlier), 52 football experts participated — two representatives from each region, the city of Kyiv, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The survey participants named their top three players.
The battle for first place was extremely tense: Andriy Yarmolenko only outpaced his teammate, goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan, by three points. The third position in the voting was taken by Taras Stepanenko from "Shakhtar". In total, the names of 15 football players were mentioned in the list.
“The Association of Veterans of Football of Ukraine initiated a new nomination to identify the best football players aged 30 years and older based on the results of the year,” concluded the referendum by the acting president of the AVFU Andriy BIBA. “Football careers are short, and we aim to recognize players who, even after the age of 30, remain in excellent shape, are leaders in their teams, and lead them to new victories. We hope they will continue to delight fans with their game and skills for a long time to come.”
