The legendary defender of Kyiv’s «Dynamo», Stefan Reshko, shared his thoughts on the draw for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for the Ukrainian national team.
Stefan Reshko— If we set the goal to finish in second place, then we can also finish third. Therefore, we should aim for the highest standard and qualify for the World Cup for the second time in history. Of course, it’s better for us to play against the Croatian team rather than France. After all, the Croatians had no chance in the struggle for first place in the Nations League against the Portuguese, while the French took first place among such opponents as the national teams of Italy, Belgium, and Israel,— said the Dynamo player.
