Former goalkeeper of "Dnipro" Mykola Medin shared his thoughts on the draw for the qualifying round of the World Cup 2026 for the national team of Ukraine.
Mykola Medin— Everything depends only on our footballers. The French national team is named the favorite, but why should we be afraid of them? Ukrainians know that the French have a very powerful attack and a strong midfield. So we need to build our games in a way that minimizes these advantages. We are capable of beating the French. And the most important thing is not to lose points in confrontations with the Icelanders and Azerbaijanis, who are of a lower class,” said Medin.
