The first part of the 2024/2025 season of the U-19 youth teams championship has concluded. We summarize the statistical results for "Dynamo".

Igor Kostyuk\'s team finished the first part of the championship in second place on the tournament table. In 17 matches of the first part of the championship, Dynamo secured 14 victories, drew twice, and lost once.

The Kyiv team is five points behind the leader, Donetsk "Shakhtar", and the third-placed "Karpaty" from Lviv are ahead by six points.

In terms of scoring performance, "Dynamo U-19" occupies the top position, having scored 62 goals against their opponents (Shakhtar has 56).

Currently, "Dynamo" is the best team in the championship by expected goals (xG) metric (46.0), ahead of Shakhtar by almost two points. However, according to the XPoints (expected points) metric, the "white-blue" team has 38.3, which is one point less than the "miners".

The defense of the Kyiv team is also in first place (7 goals conceded), and in terms of xG against (expected goals conceded), the "white-blue" team confidently leads with a score of 10.6.

"Dynamo U-19" after 17 rounds: +14=2−1; goal difference — 62:7; 44 points out of 51 possible (86.27%).

Of the 62 goals scored by Dynamo, 14 were the result of long-range shots (22.6%), 4 were the result of counterattacks (6.5%), 7 goals were scored from set pieces (11.3%), and 5 were after direct shots from free kicks and penalties (8%).

The average ball possession rate for Dynamo is the second in the league (59.4%). Only Shakhtar is higher (66.9%), with Karpaty in third place (57.0%). On average, the ball remained with the Kyiv team for 15.7 seconds.

The "white-blues" made an average of 449.71 passes per game (84% accurate), more than any other team, with Shakhtar again having a higher total (558.88 / 89%). The average number of long passes per game is 43.09 (55% accurate), with an average passing distance of 20.27 meters.

On average, Dynamo made 63.82 passes into the final third of the field (2nd best in the league), 75% of which were accurate (2nd best in the league). The Kyiv team also ranks second in the championship for the average number of passes into the 20-meter zone from the goal (excluding crosses) — 10.57 per game.

Dynamo leads in the number of crosses with an average of 19.9 per game (34% accurate). Most of these were directed towards the near post (11.0). The Kyiv team also leads in the number of touches on the ball in the opponent's penalty area (29.35 on average per 90 minutes of play).

Over the course of 90 minutes, Dynamo players averaged 99.10 ball losses (the 2nd best indicator in the league). Of course, the most ball losses occur during attacks in the last third of the field (55.83%). In the first, own third, Dynamo loses the ball the least of all teams in the league (10.45%).

Dynamo tops the chart in successful dribbles (33.52 per game, 58% successful). At the same time, the number of fouls committed by Dynamo players is at the bottom (only 9.75 per game). The Kyiv team also commits very few fouls — 13.62 per game, the 5th lowest rate. The Dynamo side has received 31 yellow cards and one red card.

Dynamo has the highest record for executed corners, with 111 in the first half. Of these, 17 resulted in shots on goal, with an xG of 2.62 (leading in this ranking is "Zorya," which from 76 corners had 13 shots, with an xG of 2.78). Most of the corners taken by the Kyiv team were directed towards the near post (44).

Dynamo earned two penalties during the first half, converting both. The leader in this statistic is "Polissya," with 13 penalties (9 converted). In terms of direct shots from free kicks, Dynamo ranks second only to Shakhtar (who have 21).

Currently, among the league's top scorers, there are three players from Dynamo — Dmytro Kremchanin (12 goals, averaging 1.08 per match, xG 6.96), as well as Vyacheslav Herich (10 goals, averaging 1.41 per match, xG 7.65) and Matviy Ponomarenko (8 goals, averaging 1.06 per match, xG 8.01), who have missed a significant time due to injuries.

The league leader in pre-goal assists is Dynamo's Roman Salenko (5 assists), while in the top 10 are Aleksandre Peikrishvili and Kyrylo Osypenko (both with 2 assists).
